The AMNOG-Monitor provides a small translation aid for technical terms frequently encountered in early benefit assessments in Germany. Although the pharmaceutical industry operates internationally, although headquarters are mostly situated abroad, and although the language of communication is usually English, German legislators show little understanding. In most cases, laws, ordinances and procedural rules are available in German language only. We therefore hope that the following suggestions for translations of the most common terms in early benefit assessments in Germany will be helpful:
